Halloween Horror Nights 21!

Finally!! Some details about Halloween Horror Nights 21 have been released!! :D The Halloween season is almost ready to officially start for me! haha If you don't know already, I am a huge fan of haunted or horror attractions/mazes. Halloween Horror Nights is one of my favorite haunted attractions! (Next to that would be Knott's Scary Farm :D) I can honestly say that I've never actually been to HHN, but I constantly keep myself updated on what's going on at HHN. I mark the opening night on my calender every year! haha Anyways, the video below gives some details about this year's Halloween Horror Nights. The video tells us the names of the new mazes and it introduces us to our main "ghost host" this year. The main ghoul for this year is "Lady Luck," and I don't really think she seems that scary so far, but then again this is just the beginning of  the HHN 21 advertising! Maybe I will start to like "Lady Luck" a little bit later. haha The new mazes sound pretty awesome so far! Three of the mazes that I think sound really cool are "Nevermore" (Edgar Allan Poe themed maze), "The THING" (do I really have to explain?), and "The In-Between" (A 3-D haunted house). All the mazes sound promising so far though. I can't wait to find out more about Halloween Horror Nights 21! You can be sure if I find out anything else, I'll post it here! :D Anyways, HHN is awesome and I think this year will be kick-ass! Watch the video below to find out more and take a look at the following link for info as well. (link) Until next time...umm...BE AFRAID! BE VERY AFRAID! hahha XD

"The Truth Is..." Theory of a Deadman

Theory of a Deadman released their latest album, "The Truth Is..." on July 11, 2011. The normal version of this album has 12 tracks, but the Special Edition one (which is the one I listened to) has 18 tracks. I personally think that this album is AWESOME! I loved their last album a lot, but now I think, "The Truth Is..." is my new favorite Theory of a Deadman album! All the songs on this album are great! The well-written lyrics of the songs are comical, hard rocking, meaningful, and sentimental. Songs like, "Lowlife," "Bitch Came Back," "Gentleman," show the hard rocking, comical lyrics that I always love to hear from Theory of a Deadman. There are also the more sentimental/meaningful songs like, "Out of my Head," "Easy To Love You," and "Head Above Water." All the songs are great! It is definitely worth a listen! This is one of those albums that I can listen to all the way through without skipping any songs. My favorite songs off the album are, "Lowlife," "The Truth Is... (I Lied About Everything)," "Hurricane," "What Was I thinking," and "Bitch Came Back." All the songs, like I said before, are really awesome though! This album is an awesome follow-up to their 2008 album, "Scars and Souvenirs." "Scars and Souvenirs," used to be my favorite Theory if a Deadman album, but "The Truth Is..." easily became my new favorite record of theirs after I listened to it! :D Every record that Theory of a Deadman releases is always better than the one before it! Theory of a Deadman never disappoints with their songs. They always just get better and better! :D Anyways, go listen to this kick-ass record! It is definitely worth the time and the money ;). So, go listen to the record now...RIGHT NOW!!!! GO, GO, GO!!!!!! haha
\m/ STAY HEAVY! \m/

R.I.P Jani Lane

Jani Lane, Warrant's ex-frontman, passed away on August 11, 2011. This is some sad news... he was one awesome singer! Warrant is one of my favorite glam metal bands so, when I found out about his death I was really sad. Honestly, I thought Warrant was better with Jani Lane. Anyways, this guy was really cool. He wrote a lot of awesome songs! He wrote songs like, "Uncle Tom's Cabin," (my favorite Warrant song) "Cherry Pie," "Down Boys," and many other songs as well. His voice was great too! Needless to say, his passing is a great loss.Jani Lane will surely be missed. Hope he's up there in Rock n' Roll heaven with the other rockstars! R.I.P Jani Lane.

Repo! The Genetic Opera

Yesterday I watched the 2008 movie, "Repo! The Genetic Orpera." I found out about this movie by watching Bloody Disgusting TV's podcasts. At first I was a bit hesitant to watch the movie because Paris Hilton acts in it. haha I thought it would be bad just because of her! hahaha However, I still wanted to watch it because from what I had seen and heard, it seemed like a pretty cool movie. Plus, Nivek Ogre from Skinny Puppy is in it. He's cool, therefore the movie is cool. haha
For those of you who don't know, "Repo! The Genetic Opera," is a story set in the 21st century in a time where almost everybody is obsessed with surgery. There is this company called GeneCo that offers organ transplants and other modification surgeries and it is run by Rotti Largo (Paul Sorvino), who is dying (therefore his children fight over GeneCo).  Some people however have not paid of their finances for their organs or whatever surgery was done to them and now the Repo Man (Anthony Head) is going around taking back what belongs to GeneCo. This story is also about the relationship between the Repo Man and his daughter, Shilo(Alexa Vega). Shilo basically feels trapped because of her genetics. This story also talks about the relationship between different characters, and how things ended up being the way they are in their world. There's basically a lot going on in the story. haha It is hard to explain in words. I know, I tried telling my friends about the movie and they were thoroughly confused. haha It is easier to understand this movie if you watch it.
Anyways, I thought this movie was awesome! The music, costumes, story, and characters made this movie interesting and appealing. It has definitely become one of my favorites! As I said before, I don't like Paris Hilton and I really thought her presence was going to ruin the movie for me. Honestly though, her acting didn't seem like acting! haha The character she played in the movie (Amber Sweet) acts the exact same way I imagine she acts in real life. haha She was ok in the movie...not great or good, but ok. The rest of the actors were great (some were better than others). My favorite character was GraveRobber (Terrance Zdunich), but Shilo was a pretty cool. Pavi (Nivek Ogre) and Luigi (Bill Moseley) were funny characters. haha I like them too. :D
To conclude, this movie was great. It had great music and the story kept it interesting. The ending was a little strange. I mean seriously after Shilo's dad dies (the Repo Man) she just walks out of the room and sings a little song about how her genes don't affect her life anymore. O_O We never find out what became of Shilo. We just find out the the Largo children are still crazy and Amber Sweet (Paris Hilton) takes over GeneCo. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO FREAKIN' SHILO! I mean she declined the GeneCo offer, but what did she do with her life? Did she die? Is she successful? What happens to her? O_O Other than that, the storyline is fine! haha I recommend this movie especially people who like the musical type movies like, maybe "Rocky Horror Picture Show?" :D You guys should definitely check out this movie! You will have fun watching it!

P.S. My "A Nightmare on Elm Street" franchise posts are coming soon... hopefully. haha Don't worry I will write them! :)
Until then remember...umm... Zydrate comes in a little glass vile? haha

Re-Watching a Franchise: A Nightmare on Elm Street

Okay, so I recently found a lot of cool podcasts while I was browsing the iTunes store. One podcast that I found particularly interesting was the, "Now Playing Presents: The Complete A Nightmare on Elm Street Movie Retrospective Series." After listening to part of one of the podcasts in the series, I wanted to watch the whole franchise again. Why? Well, “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” is one of my favorite movies and it is kind of cool to listen to the podcasts, and then go watch the movies. I've already seen all the movies in the franchise before. The last time I watched all the movies was about 3-4 years ago. I actually don't remember a lot about a couple of the movies, but that's probably because I also watched all the movies in the Halloween and Friday the 13th franchise around the same time. haha I watched all those franchises at the same time for no particular reason at all. haha I just wanted to watch them and ended up rushing through all of them. Anyways, I haven't actually seen the re-make of, "A Nightmare on Elm Street," yet. The podcast series leads all the way up to the re-make. So, I guess going through all the movies again then watching the re-make would be pretty cool. I'll write what I think of a couple of the movies after I watch them, but until then... WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T FALL ASLEEP! haha
